Allana Ferguson bio
Allana participated for Australia in the Rugby Sevens 2013 and then sustained a series of injuries to her knees that forced Allana on the sidelines. The Australian returned to the rugby league after several years. Allana was the first to play in a women's rugby union game that was played with New South Wales in 2013 and was the star of the game against Queensland. Allana has also added radio to her repertoire regularly appearing on the most popular Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana is a teacher with a complete qualification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson holds the rare honor of being a representative of Australia in three different sports: rugby sevens as well as touch, and rugby league. Allana Ferguson soccer player for Jillaroos and a league player of Australia's Jillaroos team, has had to put a premature end to her professional career within the game after tearing her ACL on a 4th occasion. Ferguson had already torn ligaments in her same knee at the ages of 15 and 17 but after the fourth tear, it was game over for the 25-year old. Ferguson, JILLAROOS's playmaker was forced to step down earlier due to a fourth accident to her left ACL. Ferguson had an injury to her ACL last November while in training.
